For your wedding consider replacing the old style wax and wick candles with the new safe battery candles. Today churches and wedding halls can no longer have open flame candles in the wedding ceremonies? More and more insurance companies and county fire safety laws are restricting the use of open flame candles in public places. The following is a summery of what you should be looking for in a flameless battery candle. The most common style of battery candles use a clear 3 volt flame light bulb that is steady burning and most of them use two AA size batteries. The batteries are usually not included with them. To conserve the battery power, turn the candles off when not needed. Most flameless candles have a twist gold ring at the top of the candle tube as a switch.

Candles make a great highlight for your wedding table, night candlelight services and wedding bouquets. At night weddings there is nothing like a battery candle lighting up the night.

Tips on Battery Candle construction:

The battery candles usually have a plastic tube to represent the was part of the candle. Look for a candle with a base that can be removed so you can also use them as hand held candles in the service. You can just untwist the white candle tube from the gold base. Also look for a candle tube that will fit into a standard taper candleholder so they can be used in candles holders or lobbers. These candles are also perfect for after the wedding parties, bridesmaids wedding candles, candle favors or for countless other candle uses.

The flame light bulbs for the battery operated candles are usually included. The battery operated candles are for indoor use or dry outside use. A candle with two alkaline AA batteries will last about 50 hours, which is much longer than most weddings. Check to make sure they are United States UL approved battery candles. Complete use and care instructions for the candle should also be included.

The candles bulb is equipped with threaded screw in connecter. Make sure that you do not over tighten the light bulbs causing the protective glass covering to break or crack. Replace the proper candle light bulbs with like voltage replacement light bulbs when the original bulb burns out.

Flameless Candles News:

With the warm glow and fragrant scents, wax flamed candles are a popular home decor item during the holiday season. Sadly last year wax candle related fires destroy 15,000 homes in the United States. The answer to this problem is the flameless battery candles. The candles will give your home a safe candle like feeling. These candles can also be used safely as table lights when the power goes off, as night lights, emergency lights. Anywhere there are no electrical outlets available. The battery candle lamps will never melt away, never burn down or never need replacing. You can enjoy battery candles for years without ever having to replace them. You can have peace of mind and not worry about the harmful, unsightly soot and messy wax that is often created by burning traditional wax candles.

Battery Warnings:

Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix standard (Carbon zinc), alkaline or rechargeable (nickel cadmium) batteries. Do not place the product in your mouth. Wash you hands after handling any metal parts of this product.
