When it comes to discussing the matter of infertility, it's important to understand that this is a concern of both men and women. While many people seem to assume that if a child cannot be conceive the problem must be with the woman, in reality there are so many things that can hinder a man's ability to impregnate that the risk of it being the man's problem is about equal to it being the woman's issue. While there may be certain physical problems that cause infertility in a man or a woman, there are many changes one can make to their lifestyle and other choices that can help their ability to conceive.

For one thing, smoking is one of the biggest causes of infertility in both men and women. When you smoke, the poisons of the nicotine are quickly absorbed into the bloodstream and because the blood travels to every part of the body, this means that there are no bodily systems that are not poisoned as a result of smoking, and this includes the reproductive system. Smoking causes infertility in women by damaging the fallopian tubes from which healthy eggs drop, ready to be fertilized, and by damaging the uterus so that a woman by actually have a fertilized egg in her system that is then unable to attach itself to the uterus. This means she may technically be pregnant and have a miscarriage before she even knows it. For men, smoking can damage his sperm so that he is then unable to fertilize an egg. For both, smoking causes infertility by damaging blood cells so that sexual function is hindered.

If you smoke then you need to help your body remove these toxins. M.S.M is a natural supplement that is getting a lot of attention due to its role in tissue healing at the cellular level. It is a natural organic sulfur that comes from rain fall and is found naturally in the human body. M.S.M maintains the development of the body's protein by forming flexible disulfide bonds between certain amino acids and in maintaining the strength of connective tissue. This allows water and nutrients to flow freely into cells and allows toxins to flow freely out of the cells. M.S.M also increases athletic stamina and helps eliminate muscle soreness.

Eating right and exercising are also important factors to treating your infertility naturally. The body needs vital amino acids and other elements from natural foods such as fruits and vegetables in order for it to function properly and heal itself from injuries and other defects. When you deny your body these things, you aren't helping the problems that may be causing infertility such as poor blood circulation, low sperm count, and so on.

Some couples have more problems conceiving but are not necessarily infertile; infertility refers to a year of regular (twice a week at least) unprotected sexual activity without conception. By simply adjusting some sexual practices you can give your body a bit of help. Sex with the man on top can help the sperm to reach the egg; when the woman is on top the sperm is actually fighting gravity to get where it needs to go. Increasing the number of times you have sex also helps; obviously the more often you have intercourse the more likely it is that you'll get pregnant. However, some problems with infertility simply need medical intervention, so if you've tried everything else and still aren't having any luck it's time to speak to your doctor.

Zinc is found is found in very high and active concentrations throughout the male reproductive system.

Ginkgo is needed for the proper functioning of the vascular system and improves blood circulation.

Vitamin B aids in the production of anti stress hormones and lowers high blood pressure.

Always consult your doctor before using this information.
